This is more a Pram size Blanket it is nicely edged and if fabric was sewn to back would make a fantastic baby's pram cover or for use in car seat.
But then some people do spoil there dogs.

Entrelac is knitting in squares in two directions (differant directions) for each row/colour, but all on the same knitting needle. Each row of square is a row as it is knitted at an angle starting with 1 square and adding more squares with each row knitted.
