DOG SHOW 2012

Val.....i purposely haven't volunteered for anything specific...so will be available for anything on the day pending my dogs behaving lol....so wherever you want me when i get there...will be in hotel from sat afternoon if anyone is popping in for a drink...i know wendy and les (blues slaves) will be lol...who else has booked in the Angel....... else ??????

Will see if I have anything that is not out of date then, that I am not likely to use before Marian picks up these things..

Only looked on one shelf so far nothing in date 1997 tin of some thing, oldest on that shelf.

Unfortunately we will not be there ..Ava goes into hospital ( vets ) to have at least 3 maybe 5 lumps removed this week from her back and one from her tail...and as you all know Tim cant walk far ........

I hope the and everyone has a good time..

hope the weather is good but it doesn't really matter as this year it is all under cover. just incase it rains......

I will be making some cakes for the stall. not sure if will be able to help with the stall tho as bring my son and Luca (luca loves cakes) lol xxx

Hello everyone! did someone say cakes!!!!!!

I will be making cakes for the dog show as promised. How many will you want me to bake? Cupcakes are ideal for this kind of event, and i have some lovely Yorkie toppers to use courtesy of Elliebelly.

If i get my daughter and a few of her friends to help you on the stall too??

we really have no idea on numbers, we are hoping for more than last year & we had in excess of 100 dogs entered in the different classes soooooooooooooooooooooooo lots of cakes is my bet but i am sure sue could say better when she gets home...... i love cakes nom nom nom nom nommmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Sis and I are thinking of doing bags of bites of cake eg rocky road (gooooorgeous choc/nut/honey) and millionaires shortbread, and ordinary shortbread,etc , little bags tied up with ribbon with little pics of doggies on- how does that sound, rather than a whole cake?

I might take the oportunity of bringing some old, still good quality, towels and curtains, as it's making good use of the journey. Anything else I can find, I will fill the car!!

Sorry, meant to ask - what time's kick-off?

As Val said last year there was about 200+ people there. I am praying that the Olympics will not get them to saty at home this year, but no matter it will still be a great day. As many cakes/biscuits/buns etc as you all want yo fetch TBH. We could always take what ever is left over to a hospice/nursing home afterwards?
Lesley whatever you can sqeeze in will always be welcome.
I will be at the clubhouse from about 7am so you are welcome there anytime but the gate officially open at 11am

Ta. I'll be there before 11, I'm sure, traffic allowing , should be ok Sunday morning, hopefully! Getting excited now!!

Yes please hun. We have nearly all we need but some are not much so would be good to double up the pencils with the colouring books etc.

was just wondering today, I am bring some cakes to the dog show on sunday and wondered do I bring them over early before gates open to public or just turn up at 11 with them ?????

Sue said she would be there very early, its a rugby or football club.

They might eat them early and any helpers there to keep them going Lesley.

Do you still need setup/cleardown help? If so - what time should I report at the site?

Also - do you need any more cakes etc as our daughter is asking if she needs to get baking?

My sister has made practically her own weight in biscuits, and we're bagging them in bags of 5 or 6 dep on the size of the delicious munchy - lawdy lawdy are they good to dunk, I tried some mis-shapes!!! I thought she was doing cakes, so I hope biccies are ok, otherwise Amethyst and I will have to eat them all on the way down!!!

yesod I would say help for setting up and setting down would be much appreciated ..sue says she will be there at 7ish so about that time would be great or a little after if you need ... and yes to cakes ..can see sues freezer filled to the brim at " home " time.. we need to raise as much ££s as possible..wish I could be there to help ( with the cake munching ) and a big

have just made 48 cake toppers with the yorkie pics on rice paper that elleibelly supplied. baking day tomorrow!

We won't make it this year, Maise isn't ready for such a large event yet. Hopefully next year we will all be able to come.

Won't be 7am, but it won't be long after. Will bring cakes, and wife and daughter will be along later with the recently groomed Joey....

We won't be there tomorrow either as it is just TOO far (150 miles each way) to do in one 'hit' and we are on 'granny duty' (my mum is 92) as my daughter is away.

I am planning how we will do it next year!
