Stray Poodle in pound until 15th ver

URGENT MINI POODLE - FOSTER NEEDED WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS POODLE, it is currently shivering in a stray dog pound with matted coat and full of fear. it's time is up Thursday 15 DEC. if you agree to foster you must be able to keep it over Christmas too, we have no other accomodation for it so you can't give it back... for that period. please all of you like and share this poor dog is at serious risk, we currently have been asked to help but can't as we have no foster. I don't want to wake up Friday morning knowing we have failed and the dog is gone. kathy@westyorkshiredogrescue.co.uk no kids or cats, someone around all the time, not if you have a busy Christmas this dog needs PEACESee more

It says no cats, otherwise I could collect it as I am the nearest.

Poor baby, Have shared. He has had some offers, so hopefully he will be in a warm home soon. Thats what i can not stand, the thought of all these dogs in cold pounds. Thats how i have ended up with my current lodger aka Boo. Breaks my heart. x

My OH is in from work at 6.15 - I'll do my very best.. Whereabouts roughly is it? I can travel, anywhere really, no ties at all.

Thanks, cowboyz, I've got everything crossed, but I'm not that hopeful - I'm going to do his favourite tea, with beans of course, and see if that might help - they say the way is through his stomach! I'll let everyone know, but it may take some time. I see there are offers of homes over the hols on Facebook (we're not on there) but I'll still have a go.

Yes, Kathy from West Yorkshire Rescue emailed me at 6.30 to say she has a place for it now, so panic over. OH & I were just discussing his plan to help me find a rescue (probably poodle, sorry!!) dog in the New Year, was going to be a secret Christmas present till I mentioned the West Yorkshire dog!

Ended well all round, I'd say - yippee, I said he was a big softy really, didn't I!!!

awwww what a peach your OH is. You can have lots of fun looking now. Hope you find your perfect new furry soon.. make sure you tell us all firsth though!

Yes, I'm watching very carefully - juggling with keeping OH happy and doing what my heart wants me to do ! I suppose everyone knows the feeling.

I am sure Sue will update you all, very sad day. She is an old lady with some of the worst matting Sue has ever seen. She still wags her tail etc, just heartbreaking. She will go the vets tomorrow to be sorted and I am sure she will be a happy old lady in time for Christmas :hugs 2:special old lady

Awwwwe I'm so glad they got her out of the pound and she will have a lovely warm snuggly night tonight. Hope they can get some of the matts out poor wee lamb. Sending gentle to a lovely older lady.

Judging by Vals new post and pics, that is this little lady concerned, what a sad sorry state she was in shocking!!
