Melody is an 18 month old staffie cross and is currently on foster in Rushall, Herefordshire.

    The Melody Fact File
Dog status: Generally very well mannered with other dogs. She would love a home where she had canine company.
Cat status: Unknown but does show interest in chasing squirrels etc so may be a no no.
Child status: Melody is a social and loving dog however, as she came to us from the pound with no history and has been in an adult only foster environment we would only be able to rehome her with children aged 8 years plus after successful meetings.
    House training: Good
Home alone: Has not been left for long by her foster home so would be an unknown quantity to be left for longer periods of time and would therefore not be rehomed to a full time worker. She is crate trained.
Basic training: Melody has a very good level of basic training and is a very intelligent and biddable dog. She already knows sit, down, stay, paw and has good recall. She would relish further training with positive methods and mental stimulation.

There is not much that I can say about the lovely Melody which is not already covered in the rest of her thread which charts her time with her foster home.

She is a bright, charming and loving dog who is looking for an active new home.
Melody loves the company of other dogs and would adore a new home with a canine playmate or two. She does enjoy puppyish play fighting and could be a little rough for small or fragile dogs. She could also be rehomed as an only dog if she were given enough social contact and mental stimulation.
Melody is an unknown quantity with cats and has been living in an adult only foster home. As she came to us from the pouind and we have no history for her we do not know if she is used to the hustle and bustle that living with children brings. Therefore we would only be able to rehome her with dog savvy children aged at least 8 years old.
Melody will be looking for a new home where someone is around for the best part of the day as she has not been left for long periods by her foster home. She is an agile dog and although she has not shown any escape tendencies with her foster home she would need a secure garden.

Miss Goody Two-Shoes did the fastest recall so she gets sausage AND her favourite chin-scratch

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk
